We got back safely from our hike late Wednesday and feel badly that we haven't sent out an email or posted here until now. There were so many emails (personal and work), a house to restock with food, and work to catch up on.
Still, Julie would love to share this very quick update. We'll be writing more.
Back from six days in remote mountain villages where the Malei people received the New Testament in their own language for the first time! Experiencing the NT dedication with people who have waited so long for it, made me ask myself how much we take the Bible for granted. At the dedication the people were encouraged to read and live by God's Word, not just put it on a shelf.
