The entire office here in Kupang was asked to be at afternoon break for a special celebration. The Lole translation team had just received a special shipment at the office, a carton containing the first of 2,000 printed copies of the Lole New Testament (and Genesis).

This team has been working on this project for over 15 years. There are 5,000 speakers of Lole from Rote Island (an island off the coast of Timor, itself not that large an island) and another 5,000 living elsewhere.
The actual celebration with this people group is scheduled for June but the entire UBB office took a moment to listen to the testimony of the translation team, to rejoice with and thank them, and to pray for the impact of the Gospel in the Lole language.
